By Road:
Bangalore: the distance to here is approximately 145-150 km right away the Banglore and this journey will consume 3-4hours drive. Go to Channarayapatna via Bangalore-Mangalore Highway (NH 48) and take the Shravanabelagola directions (around 12 km of the highway). You could ride in your own vehicle, rent a cab or have a private one.
Mysore: It is approximately 83 km and at 2-hour drive. Go through the Mysore-Hassan Highway and take directions to Shravanabelagola.
Hassan: It is approx. 50 Km. It is possible to travel by automobile or by taxi through Channarayapatna.
Parking: There is parking space at the bottom of the Vindhyagiri Hill where the temple is based.

By Bus:
Bangalore- Shravanabelagola is served by: Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) buses operate regularly on Bangalore-Shravanabelagola route. The duration of the bus is 3-4 hours. You can get down at Shravanbelagola bus stand that is a 1 km distance away to the temple. The temple can be reached by foot or on a tuk-tuk (auto-rickshaw).
By Rail: By rail, there are buses which run between Mysore (2 hours) and Hassan (1 hour). At Channarayapatna change buses as required.
By Train:
Shravanabelagola Railway Station is the closest railway station, located at a distance of 2 km of the temple. Bangalore trains (such as SUR HASAN EXP) are approximately 3-4 hours. Go to the temple by tuk-tuk or on foot by the station.
Alternatively, there is Hassan Railway Station (50 km), which has more connections on trains. Travel to Shravanabelagola by bus or a taxi, which is available at Hassan.
By Air:
The closest airport is Mysore airport (83 km) or Bangalore International Airport (164.5 km). Rent a taxi or ride on a bus to Shravanabelagola, using which you can visit either of the airports. The distance to Bangalore is greater yet flights are available.
