It is one of the most famous pilgrimages of Andhra Pradesh in India. Kotappakonda is famous for its Trikoteswara Swamy Temple, which is named after Lord Shiva. How to Reach Kotappakonda Temple
Kotappakonda Temple is a renowned temple of India located in the province of Andhra Pradesh. It is in Guntur district near Narasaraopet located on a hill. The temple is accessible in one way or another.
By Road
- It is located 13 km away in the nearest large town Narasaraopet.
- Narasaraopet has buses and taxis that take one to the temple.

Abhishekam, Sevas, and Pooja Offerings at Kotappakonda:
- Rudrabhishekam: It is done to Lord Shiva with the help of sacred products like milk, honey, and water as the mantra is chanted as a blessing.
- Panchamrutha Abhishekam: A unique ceremony during which Abhishekam is conducted over the head of the deity by means of using five sacraments: milk, curd, honey, ghee and sugar.
- Ksheerabhishekam: Use of milk to do abhishekam to achieve health and prosperity.
- Alankarana Seva: Flowers and decorations are used to adorn the deity and chants take over the place.
- Maha Aarti: Extensive light offering to the god, used in the morning and in evenings.
- Nivedyam: Feeding it to God and then to the followers as prasad.
- Archana: It is a ritual prayer in which names of god are repeated to bless the devotee.
- Special Pooja: A detailed ceremony which is made up of pooja with offerings of fruit, flowers and incense which are normally done on request.
- Kalyanotsavam A celebration where the marriage between the deity is performed.
- Ekantha Seva: The last night service is given to the God and closing or closing down the temple at night.
