Parakamani Seva is a significant volunteer service at the Sri Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala which is managed by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). This service involves counting and sorting offerings, such as currency, coins, and valuables, donated by pilgrims into the temple’s hundi (offering box). This is done every day to bring about transparency on the way the donations in the temple are handled. By 2025, the service is observed to still receive committed volunteers who assist in the running of the temple.

The temple has a tradition of seva which is open to the volunteers of appropriate yug and male gender and this is a distinctive privilege to serve in divine setting. They are taken in shifts and handle offerings carefully under tight security such as CCTVs to ensure integrity. The TTD has created an opportunity to involve more people in participation which includes the employees of the government and ordinary people rendering it more inclusive. On the day of service volunteers get free accommodation and food; have special darshan privileges; also prizes are given to those who have worked longest.
